Nearly half of social media professionals in Higher Education say they do not have adequate resources to ensure good mental health, according to research conducted by West Virginia University. From dealing with negative messages to being tasked with disseminating information during COVID-19, social media professionals are dealing with a large amount of stress and mental fatigue. In addition, they are facing a lack of buy-in and understanding of the value of social from their executive leadership.
