Mexico City, MX- June 13, 2017- Hootsuite, the world’s most widely used platform for managing social media, is excited to announce the recent opening of a new regional headquarters in Mexico City, as part of the company’s Latin America (LATAM) expansion. LATAM is one of the fastest growing markets for Hootsuite, with over two million users. Enterprise customers include leaders such as CEMEX, ILUMNO, Grupo Expansión, TBG Editorial Televisa, Seguros Monterrey New York Life and Sykes Latin America.

More than 114 enterprise customers across the LATAM region use Hootsuite to scale social media within their organization. Social is particularly important in the LATAM region, where both online and mobile social use has seen double digit growth (17 and 22 percent respectively) over the last year.
As part of the office opening, Hootsuite will be hosting a reception for the local business community on June 14. Attendees include Facebook, Televisa and members of Mexico’s Federal Government.

The opening coincides with Social Media Week Mexico, June 12-16, of which Hootsuite is a sponsor and presenter. Felix Maldifassi, Hootsuite’s LATAM Regional Manager is presenting on “Advocacy and the Bottom Line” while Cameron Uganec, Senior Director of Growth, Channels and Community will present “Creating Human Connections at Scale.”
Hootsuite has posted a number of job opportunities available in sales and customer success for the Mexico City office.
