Hootsuite Honored in Built In’s 2023 Best Places To Work Awards

Hootsuite recognized as a top employer in the United States and Atlanta in Built In’s fifth annual Best Places to Work Awards

VANCOUVER, BC — JANUARY 11, 2023 Hootsuite is excited to today announce it has been honored in Built In’s 2023 Best Places To Work Awards. In the fifth annual Awards, Hootsuite was recognized in two of Built In’s lists: Atlanta Best Places to Work and U.S. Best Places to Work. The annual awards acknowledge companies of all sizes — from the smallest startups to the largest enterprises — and honors both remote-first employers as well as companies in large tech markets across the United States.

“We are thrilled to be included in Built In’s 2023 Best Places to Work Awards as a top employer in the United States,” said Tara Ataya, Chief People & Diversity Officer, Hootsuite. “At Hootsuite, we are focused on building a diverse, inclusive, results-oriented culture — one that empowers our people to be exactly who they are and where all employees have an equal opportunity to excel. It’s an ongoing commitment to our Owls, and we look forward to continuing this journey to drive impact and engagement in the new year.”

Hootsuite empowers its people to choose where and how they work, whether that’s in the physical office, remotely, or in a hybrid approach. The company has 15 global offices or “Nests,”  which are creative hubs built for collaboration and social connection, and announced the opening of its first U.S. office in the bustling tech hub of Atlanta, Georgia last spring.

Built In determines the winners of Best Places to Work based on an algorithm, using company data around compensation and benefits. To reflect the benefits candidates are searching for more frequently on Built In, the program also weighs criteria such as remote and flexible work opportunities, programs for DEI, and other people-first cultural offerings.

“It’s my honor to congratulate this year’s Best Places to Work winners,” said Sheridan Orr, Chief Marketing Officer, Built In. “These exemplary companies understand their people are their most valuable asset, and they’ve stepped up to meet the modern professional’s new expectations, including the desire to work for companies that deliver purpose, growth and inclusion. These winners set the stage for a human-centered future of work, and we can’t wait to see that future unfold.”
