Hootsuite Publishes Annual 2022 Impact Report

Hootsuite’s report highlights the company’s ESG efforts in 2022 and looks toward its areas of focus for 2023

VANCOUVER, BC - APRIL 11, 2023 -  Today, Hootsuite released its 2022 Annual Impact Report, detailing results from the company’s annual social impact initiatives, and commitment to the environment, people and community. The report provides an overview of Hootsuite’s efforts to create a safe, inclusive, and equitable workplace, while highlighting the company’s progress towards meeting its social impact goals. 

In addition to efforts being made to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace, Hootsuite’s Annual Impact Report also highlights the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and provides transparency on the year-over-year progress of initiatives specific to the environmental, social and governance (ESG) focus at Hootsuite. Hootsuite has established partnerships with a number of nonprofit organizations, and empowered employees to participate in company-wide volunteering and giving events.

This year’s report highlights include:

  • GameChanger, Diversity & Inclusion’ workplace honor awarded to Hootsuite at the Technology Impact Awards (TIAs) by BC Tech

  • 42% of Hootsuite employees volunteered 882 hours to 25 nonprofits in 9 countries during ‘Beyond the Nest’, the company’s annual volunteer day

  • 2,500 trees planted in Guatemala and 196 hours spent cleaning up our global neighborhoods for Earth Day

  • $173,000 CAD donated to over 230 global causes during the company’s HootMatch Festival of Goodness

  • 40,000+ students enrolled in Hootsuite’s free Student Program to learn new social media marketing skills

  • Strategic partnership announcement with the World Health Organization to help combat misinformation around global health crises 

  • 12,000+ non profit registrations in Hootsuite’s HootGiving Program since the program’s inception to unlock the full potential of social to achieve their mission
