Bulk Tagging brings multi-select action to Hootsuite Planner, letting you select posts across your calendar view and apply tags to your entire selection in a single step instead of tagging content one post at a time.

How it Works

Using Bulk Tagging is simple with the Select toggle in Planner's secondary toolbar. This lets you multi-select posts across your calendar and apply tags to your entire selection at once.

• Enter select mode: Click Select in the Planner toolbar, in week, list, or drafts view, to reveal checkboxes on post cards.

• Choose your posts: Select up to 50 posts individually; a persistent bar tracks how many you have selected.

• Apply your tags: Click + Add tag to open the tag picker and stage one or more tags.

• Confirm and review: Apply the tags to every selected post at once; a success toast confirms how many updated, with a Try again option for any that fail.

This helps you keep your content calendar organized at scale, so your team can spend less time on manual upkeep and more time on strategy.
