Hootsuite Parliament introduces MCP tools for Content Admins, extending Parliament's MCP support beyond advocate sharing to give admins a full content management toolset usable directly inside MCP connected AI tools like Claude.

Previously, Content Admins had to open the full Parliament dashboard to create, schedule, and publish advocacy content, pulling them out of the AI tools they already use to do their work. Now you can create, draft, schedule, publish, edit, and delete posts conversationally, cutting the time to create from minutes to seconds without ever leaving your AI workflow.

How it Works

Setting up Parliament MCP for Content Admins is simple: connect the Hootsuite Parliament connector in your MCP enabled AI client and sign in with your Hootsuite credentials. Once connected, you can manage your entire advocacy content pipeline through natural conversation.

Connect the MCP: Add the Hootsuite Parliament connector from your AI tool's connector directory and authenticate with your Hootsuite login.
Create a post: Ask your assistant to draft a post with text, a link, a topic, and target networks, saved as a draft by default.
Publish or schedule: Tell your assistant to publish immediately or schedule the post for a specific date and time.
Review your pipeline: Ask to see your posts by status, then edit, revert to draft, or delete any of them directly in the conversation.
